Lewis Hill Wildflower Walk

One of my dear college friends, Amy, came down to Visalia for a quick visit with her two kids -- Madeleine and Dylan. We met on Saturday at Lewis Hill Preserve for the annual wildflower walk. It was wet and muddy, so conditions weren't ideal for hiking around with two two-year-olds and an infant, but it all turned out just fine (due to Amy's patience and perseverance). Despite the sporadic rain, the hike was beautiful and refreshing. And the wildflowers were spectacular. We caught a glimpse of the deliciously fragrant endangered adobe striped lily, which was a real treat. Here are some pics from our spring jaunt....
